President of Mongolia: It Is Time to Realize the “National Resilience Building Strategy”
The strategic gathering of the leadership of the armed forces was held in an expanded form under the theme "Risks and Challenges of Mongolia's Existential Security and the Shift in Leadership Perspectives".
President of Mongolia and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa participated in the gathering and gave instructions to the management team. He noted that it is time to develop and implement a "National Resilience Building Strategy" based on defense and disaster management systems. This strategy aims to prevent possible dangers, threats, and disasters, overcome them with minimal damage, and ensure the capacity and readiness of the state to rebuild society. He tasked to increase the readiness of classes, units, management staff, to enhance joint training, and to coordinate weaponry techniques, management, and organization according to unified policies and standards.
The President stated that he believes it is crucial to consistently assess the risk of cyber-attacks and negative psychological effects directed towards society and its citizens, to enhance the role and participation in strengthening national values and unity and to elevate the prestige of the service and the value of military rank. The President tasked the improvement of the working environment and social security of the chiefs, who serve as the main driving force of the special government service, to enhance education and skills, foster collaboration with educational institutions at all levels to train children and youth in defending their country, fulfilling civic duties during disasters, and to instill patriotism.
Furthermore, the President has issued directives to highlight the importance of military service to society, improve the work and living conditions of personnel, and bring about significant changes in promoting respect for human rights and freedom. He wished for success and well-being to the personnel who dedicate their strength, knowledge, and education to national security, faithfully upholding their oath.
