Mongolia and Kazakhstan to Cooperate in Information Technology

Ulaanbaatar, May 1, 2024 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of Minister of Digital Development and Communications of Mongolia Uchral Nyam-Osor, the delegation led by the First Vice Minister of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tuleushin Kanysh is paying a working visit to Mongolia on April 29-May 2, 2024.
On April 30, 2024, Minister Uchral received Minister Tuleushin Kanysh and discussed opportunities to expand and develop cooperation between the two countries in e-governance, information, and space technology.
Following the meeting, a “Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Communication Technology” was signed between the Communications Regulatory Commission of Mongolia and the National Information Technology Joint Stock Company of Kazakhstan. This Memorandum outlines collaborative efforts to ensure the quality and accessibility of government e-services, expand cooperation in the ICT sector, provide consulting services, exchange technological expertise, develop and deliver training programs for capacity building, and support the development and implementation of ICT policies.
During the visit, an extensive meeting was held to discuss opportunities to implement a joint action plan for cooperation and experience sharing in the digital sector. The meeting also focused on establishing connections between private sector organizations and facilitating B2B meetings.
Additionally, the "Khur" and "Dan" systems for state services and the one-stop service centers were introduced.
