- 2017-10-05
The Iranian delegation led by Ambassador Damanpak Jami, Deputy Director of International Education and Research Institute at the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited Mongolia. They came to launch the second stage of a Mongolia-Iran joint research project for studying the history of the Mongol Ilkhanate. Implemented in 2015-2016, the project’s first stage researched manuscripts of the 13-14th centuries, which are collected in Iranian archives, libraries and research centers. Within the second stage, scholars of the countries will study the Compendium of Chronicles written by Persian therapist and scholar Rashid-al-Din Hamadini. This book tells about Chinggis Khaan and his descendants.
