Mongolia Ranks 17th on Third Day of Asian Games

The third day of the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games. More than 12 thousand athletes from all 45 members of the Olympic Council of Asia are competing in the 19th Asian Games, which is taking place between September 23 and October 8, 2023.
Mongolian judoka Tsogtbaatar won a bronze medal in the men's 73 kg category at the Asian Games, bringing Mongolia's total medal count in judo to three. Now, China is leading the medal tally at the Asian Games with 72 medals, including 41 gold, 22 silver, and nine bronze, whereas Mongolia is ranking 17th with one silver and three bronze medals.
In addition, competitions in nine sports - archery, artistic swimming, boxing, breaking, hockey, modern pentathlon, sailing, tennis, and water polo - will also serve as Olympic qualifiers, with Paris 2024 quotas on the line.
