The Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on Northeast Asian Security Commences

Ulaanbaatar, June 15, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on Northeast Asian Security, initiated by Mongolia aiming at ensuring security and strengthening peace in the region has commenced today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Accentuating the 10th anniversary of the Ulaanbaatar Dialogue on Northeast Asian Security this year, in her opening remarks Minister of Foreign Affairs B. Battsetseg said, “We have been striving to organize this international conference, aimed to optimize foreign policy for peace and security in the region, openly with the participation of multiple parties. This time too, representatives of many countries, and international and domestic organizations in broad economic, political, and social spheres are participating in the conference."
"Our discussion will cover a wide range of topics, starting with the Korean Peninsula issue, humanitarian cooperation, security, food, agriculture, energy, tourism, natural disaster, and green economy. The current international and regional security situation shows the need to continue the dialogue in Northeast Asia," noted the Foreign Minister, requesting the Conference delegates to have an open discussion and freely share their opinions.
