Mongolian Students to Participate in Model United Nations

Bayan-Ulgii, January 20. /MONTSAME/. Six students from Bayan-Ulgii aimag will take part in the annual program “Model United Nations” of UNICEF held by Harvard University of USA between January 26-29, 2023.
The Model United Nations is a series of programs run throughout the country and the world with the goals of furthering understanding about the United Nations, educating participants about world issues, and promoting peace and the work of the United Nations through cooperation and diplomacy. The value of the Model UN experience for a student is based on what benefits a student can gain from participation. Many different kinds of talents can be developed by participation in Model UN conferences ‐ including such skills as teamwork, expository and persuasive writing, debating, and negotiation which are important for personal development and future success.
This year, more than 4000 high school outstanding students from 140 countries will participate in the program.
B. Muhamed, the Governor of Bayan-Ulgii aimag received and presented the invitation to A. Yestai, director of Empathy School, and students, including A. Muhamed, G. Hulan, J. Muhiddin, J. Laylim, D. Avdulla, and H. Fatima.
