STATE SECRETARY MR. N. ANKHBAYAR RECEIVES REPRESENTATIVES OF THE MEMBER COUNTRIES OF THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR THE STUDY OF NOMADIC CIVILIZATIONS UNDER THE AUSPICES OF UNESCO

On 23 November, 2022, Secretary of State Mr. N. Ankhbayar received representatives of the member countries of the International Institute for the Study of Nomadic Civilizations under auspices of UNESCO, who came to attend the 5th Extraordinary Session of the General Assembly of the institute.
During the meeting State Secretary Mr. N. Ankhbayar extended his gratitude to the representatives of the founding members from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye in addition to the UNESCO Silk Road project team for their continued support since establishment of the institute in 1998.
Secretary of State Mr. N. Ankhbayar exchanged views with researchers, scholars and relevant representatives on further strengthening of the activities of the institute and wished successful outcome for the 5th Extraordinary Session of the General Assembly of the International Institute for the Study of Nomadic Civilizations under the auspices of UNESCO.
The 5th Extraordinary Session of the General Assembly of the International Institute for the Study of Nomadic Civilizations under auspices of UNESCO will be held on 25 November, 2022 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
The institute was established in 1998 under the government agreement between Mongolia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye.
