"Danshig Naadam - Khuree Tsam 2024" to Be Held in August 3-4

The "Danshig Naadam - Khuree Tsam 2024," the unique cultural and religious festival of Mongolia, will be held on August 3-4, 2024, at the Khui Doloon Khudag, the outskirts of Ulaanbaatar City.
So far, more than 2,000 tourists have made reservations to observe the Festival jointly organized by the Ulaanbaatar City Council, the Governor’s Office and Tourism Department of Ulaanbaatar City, and Gandantegchinlen Monastery.
During the "Danshig Naadam - Khuree Tsam 2024," a variety of fascinating events will take place, including races for Khyazaalan (4-year-old horses) and Ikh Nas (horses older than 6 years), Tsam Dance performances, Mandala Offering Ceremony, art performances, and a Horse Show. Additionally, visitors can experience the Torma Making Competition, the competition of unzad and golch lamas (chanting masters and assistant chanting masters), traditional Mongol, Buryat, and Inner Mongolian wrestling, a display of traditional Mongol attire, national archery, traditional knuckle-bone shooting competition, mounted archery, and the bone-breaking contest.
