The fourth conference of the Mongolian and Turkish historians was held in Istanbul on September 27-28, 2023. The conference was organized by the Mongolian National University and the Istanbul University with support of TIKA, ILTERIS foundation, and the Administration of Beyoglu district of Istanbul. Among the distinguished guests, there were PhD. Bum-Ochir Dulam, Adviser to the President of Mongolia, PhD. Zayabaatar Dalai, Dean of the School of Humanitarian Science of the Mongolian National University, Prof. Dr. Osman Bulent Gul, Rector of the Istanbul University, Mr. Ali Yildiz, Mayor of Beyoglu District and others. During the conference, 30 scholars from different universities and institutes of both sides made presentations on various topics related to the ancient and modern historical events, valuable archaeological findings, historical transcripts, and modern challenges facing nomadic culture and identity.
