TRIBUTE PAID TO THE STATUE OF CHINGGIS KHAAN IN ANKARA
On the occasion of the 860th birth anniversary of Great Chinggis Khaan which is marked as the National Pride Day in Mongolia, Embassy of Mongolia in Ankara organized a gathering to pay tribute to the statue of Chinggis Khaan located in Çankaya district of Ankara. Ambassador of Mongolia H.E. Mr. Munkhbayar Gombosuren and officials from Çankaya district as well as Mongolian cadets of Police Academies and Mongolian residents in Ankara attended the tribute. This tribute takes place annually in Chinggis Khaan Park that was established in Çankaya district on the occasion of 800th anniversary of Great Mongol Empire back in 2006.
