Deputy Prime Minister Amarsaikhan Sainbuyan visited Desbas Free zone in Istanbul. Pursuant to “Memorandum of Understanding between Mongolia and the Republic of Turkey Regarding Cooperation in the Field of Free Zones”, which was signed in January 2021, Deputy Prime Minister exchanged views with the Mr. Hakan Ceylan, General Manager of Desbas, on utilizing Altanbulag and Zamyn-Uud free zones in Mongolia for investment and trade opportunities, and further learning from public and Private partnership based Free zone management models, tax incentives and service fees provided to business entities. Also Mr. Ali Bayraktar, Head of Department of Free Zones, Ministry of Trade of Turkey, talked about Turkey’s policies concerning free zones and special licenses associated with the latter.
