During the meeting with Mr. Harun Seçkin, Director General of Food and Control Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey, Ambassador Bold Ravdan stressed the importance of promptıng the 1998 Intergovernmental agreement in the field of Veterinary Services into an action with mutual efforts. To this end, parties agreed to organize video conference between the Agencies to discuss the details and requirements of sanitary and quarantine protocol in order to seek potentials of exporting animal products such as meat and leather to Turkey. Turkish counterpart expressed to support and cooperate with Mongolia on vaccine production. As of April, Mongolia exported 10 tons of animal derived products to Turkey, which exceeded the 2020 net export volume.
