Prof. Dr. Saffet Köse, rector of the Izmir Katip Celebi University and Mr. Alp Arslan, member of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors visited the Embassy and discussed cooperation possibilities with Ambassador R.Bold. Prof. Dr. Köse informed about soon to be launched Mongolia-Turkic studies center under the Turkology Institute at the Katip Celebi University and invited Ambassador to its opening ceremony. Katip Celebi University established a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation with the National University of Mongolia /NUM/ in 2018, in the framework of which 11 students were enrolled in the internship program during the 2019-2020 academic year. It was agreed to send 10 students for Turkish language practice and 11 students for nursery practice in 2020-2021, but postponed due to COVID-19 situation. Dr. R.Munkhtulga and B.Ariyajav are working as a guest professors from NUM at Katip Celebi University since 2020.
