Following the Mongolia-Turkey webinar on “Foreign Trade and Investment Opportunities”, held on March 2, 2021, Ambassador Bold Ravdan met again with Mr. Cengiz Gül, Turkey-Mongolia Council Chairman of DEIK in Istanbul. Noting the significant growth in the trade turnover, both stressed of ample opportunities in expanding trade and economic cooperation between Mongolia and Turkey. In order to utilize such potentials Ambassador Bold and Mr. Gül agreed to organize video meeting between Mongolia meat exporters and Turkey’s potential buyers in a near future. They also discussed ways to reduce trade barriers such as means and cost of transportation as an immediate issue, as well as ways to increase numbers of tourists traveling to Mongolia and Turkey. According to the statistics, the trade volume in the first 3 months of 2021 rose by 10%  from the same time of the last year.
