During the meeting with Mr. Nadir Alpaslan, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, Ambassador Bold Ravdan agreed to renew the Agreement between the Governments of Mongolia and Turkey in the field of Tourism that was signed in 1995 in order to  strengthen latter’s legal instrument that is well suited to today’s environment. Mongolia and Turkey share a common history that dates back thousands of years, and people of the two countries tend to have better reference to the historical ties but lack contemporary sources. Therefore, Ambassador Bold proposed to establish information hub in the respective countries aimed at disseminating information, encouraging people to people exchanges and promoting tourism between Mongolia and Turkey. According to the latest statistics, number of Turkish people wish to travel to Mongolia have been on the rise, highlighted Deputy Minister Alpaslan. Both sides agreed to organize a video conference between the respective Ministries to share expertise in the said area.
