Ambassador R.Bold had a courtesy meeting with H.E. Mr.Namik Erpul, Director General for Asia Pacific in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey. Following upon the request voiced out during the Mongolia, Turkey Inter-Ministerial political consultations, held online this September, it was decided that Mongolia desk to be transferred to the Asia Pacific Department within the MFA. Ambassador N.Erpul expressed that it is in the line of Turkey’s policy to approach Asia in whole in a framework of Asia Anew Initiative and introduced newly appointed Coordinator for the Asia Anew Initiative, Ambassador H.E.K.Nilvana Darama. Ambassador designate to Mongolia, H.E. Zafer Ateş also participated in the meeting. Mongolia, Turkey cooperation and possibilities of its further development as well as current relations were discussed.
