A MEETING WITH THE TIKA ACTING PRESIDENT
H.E. Mr. R.Bold, Ambassador of Mongolia to Turkey met Mr. Serkan Kayalar, Acting President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency /TIKA/ to discuss some ongoing projects such as construction of Tonyuquq the Wise Museum in Mongolia.
Mr. Serkan Kayalar mentioned that thanks to timely reaction of the Government of Mongolia to the COVID-19, the pandemic situation is relevantly at ease, which made preserving the projects continuity possible.
TIKA started its work in Mongolia, in 1994, two years before Turkey opened an embassy in Ulaanbaatar and since then has carried out over 600 projects in Mongolia in numerous areas, including education, health, infrastructure, and cultural cooperation.
