SOCIAL SECURITY AGREEMENT TOOK EFFECT

The President of the Republic of Turkey has issued a decree on 24 September, which enforces the Social Security Agreement between Mongolia and Turkey. The agreement, signed in Ankara during a high-level visit in 2018, ratified by the State Great Hural of Mongolia in the same year and by Turkish National Great Assembly early 2020 respectively, will be beneficial for the citizens working in both countries. The agreement covers pension, old age, survivors, occupational hazard and diseases, sickness and maternity insurances and will enable aggregation of periods of insurance completed in one another for entitlement to social security pensions.
