H.E. Mr. R.Bold, Ambassador of Mongolia to Turkey meets Mr. Ali Ihsan Uygun, Chairman of the Board and Director General of Directorate General of Turkish State Railways (TCDD) to discuss potential cooperation in railway sector. Presenting the overview of railway policy and development along with railway transportation of Mongolia, Ambassador R.Bold suggested to establish a direct cooperation between “Mongolian Railway” SOE and TCDD to optimize Mongolia-Turkey bilateral relations. Particularly, stressing the strategic importance of railway infrastructure as backbone of economic development, both sides confirmed that cooperation between the countries thrive on communication and transport. Mr. Ali Ihsan Uygun, Director General keenly welcomed Ambassador’s proposals to collaborate with Mongolian counterpart.
