H.E. R.Bold, Ambassador of Mongooia to Turkey visited Gerede, a town known for its tanneries and leather manufacturing industry, and met Mr. Ersin Kaska, Co-Chair of the Turkish-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gerede Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TOBB).

As a follow up to the first joint meeting of the Mongolian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held in July 24, 2020, both sides expressed their earnest interests to step forward to promote trade and economic cooperation, facilitating between potential entrepreneurs from Mongolia and Turkey. Ambassdor R.Bold had engaging conversations with Mr. Kaska and his colleagues regarding business and investment opportunities in Mongolia, not only limited in leather but also in food, construction, plastics industries that are essential to prompt SMEs in Mongolia.

Following the meeting, Ambassador R.Bold visited leather factory, Efeler Deri –the second largest leather provider for shoe manufacturing in Turkey – located in the Industrial Zone of the province. The company expressed its willingness to import qualified bovine leather for processing.
