SOCIAL SECURITY AGREEMENT RATIFIED
The social security agreement between Mongolia and Turkey that was signed in Ankara during a high-level visit in 2018, was recently ratified by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and thus soon will take effect. It was ratified by the State Great Hural of Mongolia back in November 2018.
In general, with the agreement, social security contributions should be paid in the country where the work is performed and would be beneficial for the citizens working in both countries.
A further extension is possible, subject to the agreement of both countries’ competent authorities.
