VISIT TO THE NATIONAL LIBRARY OF TURKEY
Ambassador of Mongolia Mr. R.Bold visited the National Library of Turkey and met with its President Mr.Zülfi Toman. They exchanged opinions and discussed the potential ways of cooperation. The National Library was founded in 1946 and has one of the richest collections in Turkey. Among them, there are 781 materials related to Mongolia, including 362 rare handwritings made over 100 years ago, 259 books, 22 materials, and 96 articles.
The Embassy of Mongolia in Ankara made a contribution to the library’s collection by presenting more than 20 books and publications in English, Mongolian and Turkish.
