The 22nd East Mediterranean International Travel and Tourism exhibition /EMITT/ was successfully held in Istanbul, Turkey on 25-28 January, 2018 and officials from the Department of Tourism of the Ulaanbaatar City, Tourism Association of Mongolia, and representatives from four different private companies took part in the exhibition by displaying their products and service. The EMITT 2018, where more than 650 exhibitors from 80 different countries exhibit every year, is one of the top five tourism exhibitions worldwide, and around 54000 visitors attended this year.

On the sidelines of the event, delegation had a meeting with the officials from the Directorate of Tourism of the Department of Cultural and Social Affairs of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to discuss further cooperation potentials
