Ambassador of Mongolia H.E. Mr. Bold Ravdan visited the İstanbul Aydın University in İstanbul. Ambassador met with Prof. Dr. Yadigar İzmirli, Rector of the University and Prof. Dr. İlhan Şahin, Head of the Turkish Altaic Academicians’ Community to discuss some cooperation issues. Both sides agreed to organize the International Symposium on Altay Communities in August 2018 in Ulaanbaatar that would gather over 200 academicians from different countries. Prof. Dr. Yadigar İzmirli mentioned that currently there are only 2 Mongolian students studying in her university and wishes that this number could be increased.

The İstanbul Aydın University, is one of the youngest and the most dynamic universities of Turkey and offers contemporary scientific studies with its 11 faculties, 3 Vocational Schools, 3 Institutes, 28 Research Centers, 1,500 academic staff and 39,000 students.
